Daniel Oswald

Daniel Oswald was officially appointed by the President of Switzerland and recognized by the U.S. State Department as an Honorary Consul of Switzerland to Utah on December 24, 2008. He has been involved in the business and legal communities since 1988 and is an active member of the Utah State Bar Association. He received his Juris Doctor and MBA from Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah) in 1986.

He has worked with various law firms and businesses. He co-founded and served as CEO and board member of MultiLing International (later renamed MultiLing Corporation), a language technology and services company, headquartered in Provo, Utah. Additionally he served as president and board member of the Foundation for Ancient Research and Mormon Studies (FARMS) while simultaneously acting as the executive director of Brigham Young University’s Institute for the Study and Preservation of Ancient Religious Texts (later renamed Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship). Currently he serves as the President of LawCare, PC. In his role as President of the Utah Consular Corps he was passionate about using his multilingual, multicultural and multifaceted background and life-long skills and experiences to help fulfill the mission of the UCC.
